How being open is effective
An entrepreneur that wants to grow must be open:
- Open to new ideas.
- Open to new relationships.
- Open to different points of view.
- Open to failure.
- Open to uncertainty.
- Open to diversity.
- Open to his inner thinking process.
- Open to Life.
Today we live in networks. There are closed networks where every member knows pretty well each other, and there are open networks where you welcome new members and you are free to go to new networks. The second type of networks grows faster. Why? Because they learn much more.
Being open enables you to discover what are you good at and what are you not so good at (because you can easily compare yourself to others). It enables you to compete! Being open fosters searching the growing edge…
I have never come across a successful entrepreneur that thinks he is the “best” in everything. That would be naive, pretentious and would suggest a mind that is not willing to be transformed by growth.
